House, Tayvallich, Argyll
Accommodation: Sleeps 10 - 1 double, 2 twin, 1 family. Pets.
Enjoying a superb, private and peaceful setting, in one of the most unspoilt
and beautiful areas of Scotland, Duntaynish House is surrounded by 60
acres of grounds, which are a special feature of the property and include
mature natural woodland, designated a site of special scientific interest.
The mild climate in this area ensures a colourful array of plants and
shrubs, which are a haven for birds and there is a delightful loch at
the heart of the estate, with its own island and a summer house at the
waters edge, beside a jetty.
This unique setting deserves a special house and Duntaynish House was
built by the architect George Pease for his father Lord Gainford, to take
full advantage of its position. The open plan light, bright sitting room

large table where groups can gather to play games.
